Léa has been photographing newborns for 15 years with a calm, practiced approach that prioritizes your baby’s comfort and safety. Sessions include wraps, props, organic backdrops, and parent/sibling portraits. The result is a small archive of images that look as quiet and tender as those first days actually felt.

Our Brooklyn and Manhattan studios are set up specifically for newborn work, warm temperature, soft lighting, clean backdrops, and every prop kept within reach so we don’t pause to go find things. Both locations are quiet, private, and parent-friendly. Bring a sibling if you want, we’ll photograph them too.

Over 15 years and hundreds of newborn sessions, Léa has learned what works, how to settle a baby who’s been up for hours, how to time a pose around a feed, how to pose safely so you don’t need to hover. Your job is to relax and nurse or snack. Ours is to handle your baby with patience and focus.

In-Home Newborn Photography - We Bring the Studio
Many newborn families prefer an in-home session fewer logistics, baby is settled, easier feeding breaks. We bring the full studio setup: professional lighting, wraps, backdrops, props. All we need a at 5'x5' area. Results match our studio work exactly.
Wraps, Props & Styling - All Provided
You don’t buy any props or outfits. Our newborn collection includes organic wraps, delicate knit outfits, simple rompers, and matching parent pieces. The props: natural wooden bowls, vintage baskets, muslin backdrops, and wooden swings. Everything is washed between sessions. On the day, we pull 3–5 looks based on your baby’s mood and skin tone.
Your Newborn Images - Private Online Gallery
About two weeks after your session, your private online gallery goes live. Every image is color-corrected in our signature style; blinks, blurs, and in-between frames are removed before you see anything - you’re only choosing from real deliverables. Your package includes a set number of high-res downloads, plus the option to select additional favorites for advanced retouching or fine-art printing.
Optional Newborn Retouching — Gentle, Hand-Edited
Advanced newborn retouching is Léa’s specialty. Per-image work that handles what color-correction can’t: evening baby skin (acne, peeling, redness), removing umbilical stubs cleanly, softening diaper marks, cleaning up wrap wrinkles, blending creases. Everything is gentle — your baby should look like themselves, just polished. The before/after gallery shows real examples from past newborn sessions.

If you want one piece of art from your newborn session — something to hang above the mantel — this is it. We design the image with you: backdrop, baby’s pose, siblings included or not. Built image by image, not batch-processed. Framed prints available from our lab, or delivered as a high-res file for your own framer.
Fine Art Newborn Prints & Keepsake Albums
Print at least one piece from your newborn session. Your baby won’t be this small for long, and files on a phone get lost. We offer fine-art prints, matted and framed wall art, small prints for grandparents, folio boxes, and linen-bound albums that lay flat. Everything is printed in a professional lab on archival paper. Order directly from your gallery, or book a phone consult with Léa — we’ll help you decide what suits your space. Albums make beautiful first-birthday gifts for the family who couldn’t be in town.

Newborn sessions book during pregnancy — the ideal window is your 30th–36th week. We reserve your slot tentatively, then firm it up when baby arrives.
