Our maternity wardrobe has around 30 gowns, silks, and wraps ranging from XS through 3X, plus accessories. You don't need to buy or borrow anything. We'll show what's in your size on the day, pull 2–3 looks together, and Léa styles and poses you through each one.

Can you edit out stretch marks, a double chin, or swelling?

Your final Artistic Retouching service includes the option to edit stretch marks, dark spots, swelling, and more upon request. Blemishes such as wrinkles, eczema, and dry patches are smoothed out while retaining natural skin texture and shading. Additionally, upon request, concerns like double chins and excess weight can be addressed, as well as teeth whitening and hair enhancement.

When is the ideal time to schedule my maternity session?

The sweet spot for maternity photos is around your 7th month — belly visible, movement still comfortable. Book early as our calendar fills 2–3 months out. Free rescheduling up to 48 hours before your shoot if plans shift.

Will I receive a discount if I purchase both a maternity and newborn photoshoot?

Yes! If you choose to book both your maternity and newborn sessions together, we'll gladly offer you a 10% discount on both packages.

Where will the session take place?

Le Studio NYC offers two convenient locations: one in Manhattan at 873 Broadway, New York, NY 10003, and one in Brooklyn at 74 Verona Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231. Additionally, we provide in-home sessions with professional studio lighting equipment.

Do you provide in-studio hair and makeup?

Yes, professional hair and makeup is included in every maternity package. Our team starts about an hour before shooting — you relax while getting camera-ready.

What the Brooklyn & Manhattan Studios Feel Like

Both studios are large, airy, and quiet — no corporate photo-studio feel. The Brooklyn space is at 74 Verona Street in Carroll Gardens (free parking, F/G subway); the Manhattan space is at 873 Broadway near Union Square (elevator access, 4/5/6/L subway). Each has private changing, a lounge area, full editorial lighting, and snacks. You’ll have the studio to yourself for your session.

Your Images — Private Online Gallery, High-Res Files

About two weeks after your session, your private online gallery goes live. Every blink, blur, and in-between frame has been removed — you only see real edits. Your package includes a specific number of downloadable high-resolution files, plus the ability to select additional favorites for advanced retouching or fine-art printing. Share the gallery link with family — it’s password-protected.

Optional Advanced Retouching for Your Favorites

For a small number of favorites, advanced retouching can take a pregnancy portrait to editorial-magazine quality. This is hands-on work with Léa — softening stretch marks if you want (or keeping them if you don’t), cleaning up fabric wrinkles, adjusting posture, refining hair. Fine Art Maternity Prints & Wall Art for Your Home

Hard drives die. Phones get replaced. Prints are what actually last. After your session you can order fine-art prints, matted prints, framed wall art, folio boxes, or linen-bound albums directly from your gallery. We print in a professional lab on archival paper, matched to what you see on-screen. Prices start around $75 for smaller unframed prints. We’ll help you decide what suits your home — most maternity clients order one wall piece now and save the rest for an album after the newborn session.

Archival Fine Art Papers — What We Use and Why

The paper matters. We print on heavyweight archival fine-art paper — the same stock used in museums and galleries. It won’t yellow or fade, reproduces skin tones accurately, and gives each image physical presence. We offer matte, lustre, and textured finishes. Albums are bound in linen or full-grain leather, with archival lay-flat pages built to hold up for decades. These details are what turn photos into objects worth keeping.
