NYC Boudoir Photographer — Editorial Studio Sessions

Boudoir Photography in NYC — With a Female Photographer

Boudoir isn’t about showing skin. It’s about showing yourself, in a space that feels private and on your own terms. Léa is a female photographer who has built her boudoir practice on one idea: the client sets the tone, the photographer follows. Wear as much or as little as you want. Pose naturally, not performatively. The result is portraits of you looking like yourself — not an airbrushed idea of yourself.

Work With Léa — 15 Years of Editorial Portrait Work

Léa has 15 years of editorial and portrait experience, and a long list of boudoir clients who booked sessions for themselves, their partners, or as a milestone after a major life chapter — cancer recovery, body changes, pregnancy, divorce. The studio is private during your session. Your gallery is private too. Nothing is shared publicly without your explicit written consent. Boudoir works when trust is clear — we build it before you book.

How a Boudoir Session Works — Start to Finish

Book 2–3 months ahead. We send a prep guide covering what to wear, what to bring, what to expect. Sessions run about 3 hours — hair and makeup first, then shooting in multiple wardrobe looks. Your gallery goes live 2–3 weeks later. You select favorites for advanced retouching and choose prints or digital files. Free rescheduling up to 48 hours out. Everything stays in-studio — no outside eyes.

Hair and Makeup Included — Your Choice of Look

Hair and makeup is included in every boudoir package. Our team starts an hour before the shoot so you can settle in while getting camera-ready. Tell us the look — soft and natural, full glam, editorial drama, no makeup at all — and we’ll build it. Professional hair and makeup is the biggest difference between a photo of yourself and a portrait.

Boudoir Wardrobe — Bodysuits, Robes, Slips & Silks

Our boudoir wardrobe includes silk robes, lace bodysuits, classic slip dresses, corsets, and a selection of oversized shirts and sweaters for a softer, more casual feel. Sizes XS through 3X. You’re welcome to bring your own pieces too — many clients do. Léa helps you style each look and poses you through it. Nothing performative; every pose is one you’re comfortable in.

A Private, Spacious NYC Studio for Your Session

Sessions happen at our Brooklyn studio (74 Verona Street) or Manhattan studio (873 Broadway). Both are private, spacious, warm, with full editorial lighting, multiple set backdrops, a private lounge, and a separate changing area. You’re the only client in the building during your session. The vibe is calm and unhurried — exactly what you need for this kind of work.

Your Images — Password-Protected Gallery, Your Control

Two to three weeks after your session, your private gallery goes live — password-protected and shareable only with people you choose. Images are color-corrected in our signature style; blinks and in-between frames removed before you see anything. Your package includes downloads of a set number of high-res files, plus the option to select additional favorites for deeper retouching or fine-art printing. Every gallery includes a model-release toggle — only images you approve are ever shown publicly.

Advanced Retouching — You Approve Every Edit
Artistic Retouching

With Our Artistic RetouchingAdvanced boudoir retouching is where we move from “good portrait” to “something you’d see in a magazine.” Per-image work: evening skin tone, adjusting posture, refining fabric, cleaning up small details. It’s collaborative — you point out what you want emphasized (or de-emphasized) and we work image by image. Everything optional, discussed, and reviewable before delivery. The before/after gallery shows real examples from past boudoir sessions.

Fine Art Digital Composition for Editorial Boudoir
Digital Composition

Fine Art Digital Composition is for clients who want one piece of true art — a boudoir portrait built like an editorial magazine cover. We photograph you in studio and composite into a scene: window light on painted walls, draped silk, textured shadow. Each piece is built image by image over several hours, with full retouching included. Usually ordered as a single large wall piece. See the portfolio for examples.

Fine Art Boudoir Prints & Linen-Bound Private Albums

Prints carry a different presence than a file on your phone. Boudoir clients often choose a linen-bound keepsake album — the session in book form, kept wherever you want it. Wall prints, small folio sets, and framed pieces are also available. Everything printed on archival paper in a professional lab, shipped in plain packaging.

Print Options — Archival Paper, Discreet Packaging

Boudoir prints are produced in a professional lab on archival paper that won’t yellow or fade. We offer open prints, matted sets, framed wall art, folio boxes, and linen or leather-bound albums. Every order ships discreetly — plain packaging, no studio branding, neutral return address. Your privacy doesn’t stop at the gallery.

Why Print? Your Session Deserves a Physical Object

Most of our boudoir clients end up printing at least one piece. For many, it’s a small album kept in a drawer — a private record of a session that mattered. Others commission a wall print. Whatever you choose, it’s printed on the best archival paper available, color-matched to what you see on screen. The album especially is worth it — it turns your session into an object, not a file that vanishes when your phone dies.

Boudoir Photography Testimonials

"Best 30th Birthday with My Boudoir Photoshoot!"

Léa was great with us! I got a photoshoot with her for my 30th birthday present and she made sure to take care of us! She made us feel comfortable and was very patient with my outfit changes, posing me, allowing me to bring props, and made sure all of my outfits were correct before shooting. We even used the makeup artist and hair stylist on her recommended page and got everything done at her studio. I would definitely go to her again!

– Claudia K.
