Where will the session take place?

Le Studio Portrait Photography NYC offers two convenient locations: one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn. Additionally, we provide in-home sessions. Our in-home sessions provide the same level of excellence and attention to detail as our studio sessions. We bring all the props and professional studio lighting equipment allowing us to shoot any time of day and night.

Our Brooklyn studio is situated at 74 Verona Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231. This 1,500-square-foot studio boasts 16-foot ceilings, elevator access, and hassle-free parking. Parking right in front of the building is often available!

In Manhattan, our studio is centrally located in Union Square at 873 Broadway, New York, NY 10003. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries or assistance needed in preparing for your session at either Le Studio NYC location.

Do you offer a consultation prior to the session?

Yes, as soon as you book your session, we'll discuss your vision, ideas, desired look, and color preferences. Your first step is to browse through my portfolio or online references and share the photos that resonate most with you. We'll refine the looks and styling through a mood board. At the beginning of the session, we'll review everything together, and Lea will create a detailed plan for your photoshoot.

How do I pay for my session?

At Le Studio, we accept cash and all major credit cards. To book your session, a $100 deposit is required, which can be paid on our Book Now page. This deposit will be deducted from the total amount due at the end of your session.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. You can reschedule your appointment at no extra cost up to 48 hours before your shoot. Your session can be rescheduled twice. However, please note that the deposit is non-refundable. We're here to make the process as flexible as possible for you!

How soon will I receive my photos after the photoshoot?

Your High-Resolution Digital Images will be delivered within two weeks of your photoshoot. Following that, you can choose your Artistic Retouching and Fine Art Digital Composition. Within two weeks of submission, you'll receive your retouched images.

Can I receive my pictures faster after the photo session?

Yes, we offer expedited processing for an additional $100 rush fee. With this service, you'll receive a downloadable gallery link of High-Resolution Digital Images within three days instead of the standard two weeks. Additionally, for another $100 rush fee, you can have your selected photos for Fine Art Retouching delivered within three days instead of two weeks.

Can you do the photoshoot at my house?

Yes, we offer tailored home sessions specifically for newborn and baby milestones, making it convenient for you by eliminating the hassle of traveling with infants or toddlers. Our in-home sessions provide the same level of excellence and attention to detail as our studio sessions. We bring professional studio lighting equipment allowing us to shoot any time of day and night. We also provide a carefully curated selection of props and backgrounds to ensure your at-home session matches the quality of our studio shoots.

Do you provide outfits for the shoots?

Our packages include a meticulously curated wardrobe of exquisite fabrics and silks, catering to women of all sizes and shapes. Our extensive selection of beautiful props and elegant outfits, showcased in many of the photos on our portfolio, ensures each moment is adorned with sophistication and style. For newborn sessions, we provide an extended collection of adorable outfits, delicate knitwear, wraps, and props meticulously chosen to craft the signature aesthetic you love.

Do you provide in-studio hair and makeup?

You can choose to add the hair or makeup option to your package. Our expert Hair and Makeup artists will elevate your look, ensuring you radiate beauty during your photoshoot. We can also recommend hair and make-up artists that will come to your home before the session or a salon nearby.

How do you deliver the photos after the photo session?

After your photo session, you will receive a private online gallery. This convenient online platform ensures you have easy access to your photos, allowing you to share your favorite images with family and friends, download your selected images, or order retouching, prints, and enlargements.

What are High-Resolution Digital Images?

After your photoshoot, you'll receive your color-enhanced, high-resolution digital images. I meticulously edit out blinks, blurs, and any 'in-between' shots, presenting all session pictures for your review. Each package includes a set number of high-resolution digital images available for download from your online gallery. Additionally, you can choose your favorite images for Artistic Retouching and Fine Art Digital Composition from the same gallery. If you wish to purchase extra images beyond your package, feel free to inquire.

What is Artistic Retouching?

With our Artistic Retouching, our skilled retoucher will elevate your portraits to editorial excellence. Collaborating closely with you, we'll bring your vision to life, delicately enhancing details or orchestrating dramatic transformations. From softening wrinkles to erasing blemishes, sculpting your silhouette, brightening your smile, or perfecting your hair, together, we'll create images that capture your beauty. What is a Fine Art Digital Composition?

Fine Art Digital Composition service seamlessly integrates subjects into stunning scenic backgrounds from our portfolio. For maternity or beauty sessions, choose from options like mirrored images or captivating windowed silhouettes, cityscapes, cherry blossoms, or architectural backdrops. This service also includes the Artistic Retouching described earlier. Explore our retouching galleries for inspiring examples.

What are the usage rights for the photographs?

Your photos are yours to cherish and share! You're welcome to use them for personal enjoyment and to showcase your beautiful moments. While we hold onto the copyright, we're all about flexibility, ensuring you can make the most of your images. When you share on social media, a tag or a mention would be lovely! Do you offer printing and enlargement services?

Within weeks after your session, you will be able to order your final prints from your online private gallery. We offer many options to showcase your captured moments, from prints to framed prints, greeting cards to albums. Our professional-grade archival paper ensures vibrant colors and sharp image quality, preserving the essence of your memories for generations.
